It covers the minimum level of First Aid training recognised by the MLTB, BCU, BASI, ASSI, and BOF and most other NGB’s. It also qualifies the holder to be an appointed person at work. (Not to be confused with First Aider at Work, which is a four-day HSE course).

The course follows the same basic outline as the Emergency course but with an additional day looking at water specific issues and scenarios. This course will be predominantly based outdoors.
It is of particular interest to paddlers, coaches and guides working in the U.K. and abroad.

All our trainers are Rescue Emergency Care qualified providing HSE approved courses and continually update their training and skills through various national and work related training. Our instructors work with the Ambulance service as well as various Mountain, Cave, Mine and Swiftwater Rescue teams.
